Planning for the cyborgian mood music during the CyborgCamp pre-party. We expect the party to be more about talking than about dancing, but you never know.
Volunteer DJs
Please volunteer to help DJ/curate the cyborgian mood music. We don't plan for any equipment beyond a laptop and speakers, so if you have additional equipment needs, make sure you can meet them yourself.
- Yes! I want a turn at setting the cyborgian mood!
- I will bring the tracks I added below (and others) - Wm Leler
- I can also bring a mixer so people can plug in their iPods, if desired (wm)
Music Suggestions
Please make any cyborgian mood music suggestions and indicate whether you can supply the actual tracks you suggest.
- Brian Eno
- Kraftwerk
- Steve Riech
- Kate Bush
- Was (Not Was) - Robot Girl
- Buggles - I love you (Miss Robot)

If I may use someone's laptop, I volunteer, as I know Kraftwerk, Eno and Reich well.

I can bring some stuff too - however, I need a lappy that reads Ext3-formatted drives. I have an external drive with around 120GB of cyborg music. So...any Linux lappies out there? Or owners of laptops that have the ability to read Ext3

According to the main CyborgCamp page (http://cyborgcamp.com/), there is now an official DJ for the party, Alain Bloch. I've emailed some music to him.
